Around the Pinetree Quilt Top

Carol M. Hesselink designed an original Around the World quilt with a Pinetree medallion quilt. The Pinetree medallion is a 12″ square in the center of the quilt top, surrounded by the Around the World pattern. Log Cabin Pine Trees

In 2000 Julie Gilchrist made a Log Cabin Pine Trees quilt using 18 different green prints and a blue-gray mottled background. In 2001 a thief stole the quilt out of her car along with her stereo/CD player. She believes they used the quilt to cover up the stereo when they stole it.
