Recovered!
Ode to Sally-Anne

On Thursday, March 2, 2006 Beryl Mayger lost the quilt top she had been working on for over a year. It may have been taken from a basket in the Watsonia Library in Victoria, Australia, or it may have been dropped in the library parking lot.

On the morning of March 28 Beryl opened her front door and there was her quilt top! Someone had mysteriously left it on her doorstep. What a wonderful gift!

This quilt was made from the "Primarily Patchwork" pattern. It is approximately 85" by 95". It has a beige background with tiny red cherries on it. There is an appliqued central bouquet that is surrounded by an oval of appliqued flowers, leaves and pomegranets, and there is a bunch of flowers at each corner. It is made up of nine panels joined together.
