Hearts

Rebecca Dakan would like to recover a 30" square quilt that she made in 1990. It was last seen during July 1995 in Santa Cruz, California. It was tacked to the wall when their house was for sale. One day it was removed from the wall and stolen.

This quilt has a center panel with sixteen hearts (four across and four down). The hearts are in dark reds, navy blues, and tan. Their is a small border in tan dots on red, and a slightly larger border of navy blue with little ivory stylized flowers, and another larger border in dark red with an ivory diagonal design. The final border is more hearts which formed the selvage of the original fabric. Rebecca pieced them together to form a full border on all sides. This was the first quilt that Rebecca hand quilted.

Please contact Rebecca at [email protected] if you have found this quilt.
