Two Trip Around the World Quilts

Eileen Burke is hoping to find two Trip Around the World quilts which she made. The quilts were last seen in 2005 in Lansdowne, Pennsylvania. One is twin size, and the other is double size, approximately 81" by 81".

One quilt is a bright rainbow Trip Around the World quilt with black, white, and pink with lots of busy prints. This one is a finished comforter, tied with embroidery floss in colors to match, which made a design on the plain black backing. The finished one has a hand-embroidered label in rainbow colors that says, "For Alanna, Love Mom, 1996."

The other is a twilight version, very plain and somber. This one is only a top. It is made mostly of men's shirts in lavender, blue, green, and navy blue. This one seems to "move" when you look at it.
