Friendship Star Birthday Quilt
Anna Barrera is searching for a special Friendship Star birthday quilt she made for her daughter, Sandra�s. It was shipped via US Priority Mail on June 29, 2000 from Houston, Texas to Chicago, Illinois, but it was not sent insured. There were other birthday gifts in the box as well, but it never reached its destination.
The pictures shown here were taken the day before she sent the quilt to her daughter. The quilt was made with many of her family�s favorite fabrics and it is had quilted with prayers and good wishes. It fits flat on a queen size bed.
The label has a hand-embroidered bird in blacks and grays and looks like a pencil sketch. The label says,
For Sandra
From your mom,
with all her love.
