On September 26, 2002 an original quilt, Leigh’s Jubilee Quilt, by Dianne Edwards was stolen on the eve of the Canberra Quilters’ Annual Members Exhibition. On July 6, 1993 a Patchwork Quilt was lost on the eastbound Amtrack train Empire Builder. It is a multicolored, full-sized quilt made of 3″ to 4″ blocks. The backing was made from a light blue sheet.
