Holly Sellman is hoping to find a quilt that her grandmother made for her son, Jacob. It is a twin-sized quilt made with lots of blue and primarly colors. It has helicopters, cars, trains, and anything else a boy might like. It was hand pieced and hand quilted in 1998. The label reads, “To Jacob, Love Grandmommy, 1998.” The label is a small tag attached to the bottom of the quilt.
This quilt was last seen in 1999. The family stayed in a motel in Northern California, just a few hours from the Oregon border. When they realized it had been left behind, they called the motel, but the employees said they had not seen it or found it.
Holly adds, “My grandmother made this for my son. It took her close to a year and she still doesn’t know it is missing. It would break her heart if she knew. Everytime I think about it I am just heartsick. I will offer a reward if someone has it and will return it.”
