Mistianne Guzman made this quilt top as a raffle quilt for the AKC Nationals (an AKC dog competition). The quilt top was in California to get approval at this year’s nationals. Lorraine M. Kalisz hopes to recover a raffle quilt she made for a fundraiser for the C.T. Plunkett Elementary School Library of Adams, Massachussetts. Another award winning quilt has come up missing! Laura Bailey Parks designed a special raffle quilt for St. Paul’s Episcopal Church of Batesville, Arkansas. She calls it “The BBC” (the Barnett Building Ceiling) because the original design was inspired by a pressed metal ceiling in a department store in Batesville. The quilt is 85-1/2″ square. Raffle Quilt Stolen

This raffle quilt was made by the Evergreen Quilters Guild of York County, Maine and donated to raise funds for the Wells Fire Department. The quilt was stolen sometime in early September 2000 before the raffle could be completed. The fire department was raising funds to purchase thermal imaging equipment.
