Memory of a Sailor

Candy Fagan made a special quilt featuring memory pictures of a sailor named Matthew, aged 19, killed in Iraq in 2006. The twin size quilt has pieced 6-inch blocks down both sides with pictures in the middle.

In January 2007 Candy shipped it from Cumming, Georgia to Jacksonville, Florida via UPS. When they delivered it, no one was home. The box was left at an apartment, but the owner never received it. There was also a letter in the box written to the Conte family expressing sorrow over the passing of Matthew.

Please contact Candy at [email protected] if you can help in the recovery of this quilt.
