Four Patch Calico

On August 12, 2002 a Four Patch Calico Quilt, made by Jody Ball, was accidentally left in a hotel room in Myrtle beach, South Carolina (North Myrtle Beach). The hotel was formerly a SANDS Resort Bay Watch. It was apparently mixed in with the bed linens and sent off the laundry, never to return. Jody tried contacting the hotel and the laundry, but with no success.

This crib-sized quilt used a variety of pastel calicos with a muslin backing. It is machine pieced and tied. It has a label on the back that says, "This Quilt was Commissioned by Christopher Ball for Caroline Ball on the Occasion of her 1st Birthday."

If you've seen a quilt that looks like this, please contact Jody through the Lost Quilt Come Home Page.
