Monica Donohoe needs help recovering two missing quilts. These quilts were on display at the Texas State Fair in the Junior Division. The disappeared from the Creative Arts Building at Fair Park in Dallas, Texas. They were last seen on October 22, 2017.
This twin-size, red quilt was made by Monica’s daughter, Marisella Michelle Mercado. It is machine pieced and machine quilted. It is labeled, “My first quilt, Marisella Mercado, 2017.” The label is a triangular piece of flannel that is sewn to the bottom corner.
This green/purple quilt is also twin size. One distinctive fabric has apples. This quilt was made by Monica’s daughter, Morisol Mercado. It is machine pieced and machine quilted. It is labeled, “My first quilt, Marisol Mercado, 2017.” The label is a triangular piece of flannel that is sewn to the bottom corner.
