Update: We have been in contact with both Betsy and Carol, and are getting their information to American Airlines!
American Airline’s Lost and Found Department has a missing quilt that they are trying to return to it’s owner. It was lost by someone traveling through Charlotte, North Carolina. It was turned in on November 3, 2016.
The label says:
To my dear, sweet, big sister -
“Betsy”
Marion Elizabeth Paiko McKinney
who has always protected, cared and loved me.
On the event of your 70th birthday.
Dec. 26th, 2016
I love you with all my heart -
Carol Paiko Swota
Malta, New York
Ps. 91:11
If you can help with this recovery, please contact us at info@lostquilt.com.
I found an Obituary for Stanley Paiko, June 10, 2010 which contained both names.
Betsy McKinney (Scott) of Sneads Ferry, NC and Carol L Swota, (Bob) of Ballston Lake NY
Hope these are the ladies and you can find them.
I looked on whitepages .com and found a carol Swota in Balston Lake, NY(near Malta) her number is 518-899-2909
