In 2010 Mary Ann Cooper made a lap quilt for Patricia Stewart. It was shipped from Missouri to the Ohio/West Virginia state line area, but the recipient was away and never received it.

This quilt features blue embroidery, sashing, cornerstones and embroidered cross-stitched stars. It is machine pieced and machine quilted. Mary Ann is not sure if it is labeled, but if it is, it would have been in black ink, and it would have said something like, “For Patty & Rick” and signed MAC along with a small red heart. She usually signs her quilts directly on the backing in the lower right corner.
