Julia’s Quilt

LeeAnn Torkelson asks for everyone to watch for this quilt which she made for Julia Prochnik. The quilt was last seen on November 26, 2013 when it was sent from Fountain Hills, Arizona. The quilt, according to the shipping company, was delivered on November 29 at noon to the recipient in San Francisco, California. The box was apparently stolen, along with other packages, from the doorstep.

This is a baby quilt intended for a first-time mother. The purple color scheme was selected by the mother-to-be. It is about 40″ by 48″. The fabrics include Laurel Birch butterflies. The dark purple background fabric is a Halloween fabric with “Boo” and other Halloween phrases. This quilt is machine pieced and machine quilted.
