Judy Lenhart George hopes that someone might have found the 50th Anniversary Double Wedding Ring quilt that she made for her parents, John and Rita Lenhart. The quilt was last seen on October 1, 2012 in Maumee, Ohio. Rita was packing to move to Northwestern (Niagara Falls), New York. The quilt was last seen in a linen closet in a commercial, clear plastic, comforter-size bag with a white zipper.
This full size quilt is machine pieced and machine quilted. The fabrics she used included blues, white-on-white, and blue/purple hydrangeas. The quilt was made in 2007. The quilt is labeled and includes pictures of her parents on their wedding day along with a current day photo. The label was fused to the back and then hand button-hole stitched around the state of Ohio.
