Dena Crain donated two quilts to the Trust for African Rock Art (http://www.africanrockart.org). The quilts were part of a traveling exhibition of African rock art. The car they were being transported in was involved a car crash on the road between Nairobi, Kenya, and either Arusha or Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Elisabeth Elmquist is hoping to recover a quilt she made for her daughter’s tenth birthday. It was last seen in June 2001 in France at the International School of Sophia Antipolis. On August 2 or 3, 2003 someone stole Linda Garcia’s Southwestern Quilt from the Fremont County Fair in Riverton, Wyoming. This quilt was made from a commercial pattern.
