Recovered! Dragon Star & Red, White and Sometimes Blue

Katrina Jones hoped someone could help her recover two quilts that became missing during September 2015. She shipped them in a suitcase along with some personal items from Belfast, UK to Colorado and the suitcase went missing during transit on September 12. Red Flower Quilt

Lee Nordin would like to find an original quilt that was made by her mother. The full, bedspread-sized, linen quilt was made in Ireland. The quilt has a large red flower in the center. Each piece was outlined with buttonhole stitch using embroidery thread. This quilt was hand pieced, hand appliqued and hand quilted. It was made around 1948-1952.
