Shop Hop Sampler Quilt

Cindy Chihasz is hoping someone has found a quilt that she made for her mother. Her mother was living in Iva Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Iva, South Carolina. She had been very ill and was brought to the hospital for two days. The workers told her they were going to clean the quilt for her while she was gone, but they never saw it again. The entire center was searched and the laundry service was contacted, but it was not found. The quilt was last seen during April 2013. Her mother passed away March 14, 2017.

This quilt was from a pattern from a South Carolina/North Carolina Shop Hop in 2012. The main colors are yellow, white and purple. Some of the fabrics have daisies, pansies, and asters. This quilt is machine pieced, machine appliquéd, and machine quilted. The label says, “For Ruby P. Lawrence for her 88 birthday, July 28, 2012. The label was embroidered and hand appliquéd to the lower right corner of the back.

If you find this quilt, please contact Cindy at cchihasz@wctel.net.
