Nancy Timm is searching for a quilt made by Melanie Schatz-Pattay. It was made as a wedding gift for Tara Lee (her current name) and Julian.

The quilt was made using Judy Martin’s “Star Happy Quilts.” It uses bright batiks, mostly magenta and yellow. It has a label on the back saying it is a wedding gift for Tara and Julian. After being married in Minnesota, they moved to his native Mexico. A divorce followed a few years later. The quilt was supposed to have been mailed from Mexico back to St. Paul, Minnesota sometime between 2007 to 2009. The maker believes the recipient didn’t tell her for quite a while that the quilt was missing.

This quilt is king size, at least 105″ by 105″. It is machine pieced and machine quilted on a long arm machine.
