Flannel Trip Around the World

On July 13, 2004 an F4 tornado hit Roanoke, Illinois. That was the last time Michele McCullough saw the flannel quilt she had made for her dad while he was in a nursing home. Recovered! Lover’s Knot

In May 1999, Oklahoma City was hit by a violent tornado with winds up to 320 miles per hour. This Lover’s Knot quilt was lost in that tornado. Diane Boisvert made this quilt for her brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Coffey. It was made in September 1998. She used Eleanor Burns’ Quilt in a Day Lover’s Knot book.
