Vermont Quilt Store Theft

On June 24, 2005 three quilts were brazenly stolen from The Newfane Country Store in Newfane, Vermont. The quilts were removed from the display and the thief escaped through a door that is usually not used and is kept bolted shut. “Sasano Claremont Salvia,” above, was made by Pamela Hill.
