White with Pastels Baby Quilt

Recovered! Sampler Quilt Top

On August 18, 2003 Beth Kitts sent a Sampler Quilt Top from Ruston, Louisiana. Somehow the shipping company lost the package and could not trace it. On September 10 Beth received the good news that the package had finally arrived at its destination. The box was squashed flat and very badly damaged, but the quilt top was intact. Scrap Patchwork Quilt

In 1973 Shirley Gauthier made a patchwork quilt for her son using 3″ squares of mixed fabric scraps. Some of the fabric scraps were tropical prints and some were from children’s shirts and dresses. The Original Millennium Quilt, designed and made by Deb Freesemann, owner of design studio Sew Dear. This quilt was introduced at the International Quilt Market in Providence in Spring 1999.
