Yellow Double Wedding Ring Quilt
Susan Wiederhold is hoping to recover a yellow wedding ring quilt. It was last seen in April 1990 in The Storage Barn in League City, Texas. Through a series of misfortunes and misunderstandings, the contents of the storage facility were sold at auction without notifications.
This quilt was made by Bonnie Sessums and is owned by Susan Wiederhold. It is a full-size, traditional wedding ring quilt. The rings are set on a white background. The diamonds where the rings intersect are yellow, and the backing is yellow. The rings also have a distinctive black and white gingham. This double wedding ring quilt has straight, not scallopped edges. It is hand pieced and quilted. There are several squares in each ring that are a black and white gingham fabric that is deteriorating. It was a wedding gift in 1981.
If you know where this quilt might be, please contact Susan through the Lost Quilt Come Home Page.
