Yellow and Blue Nine Patch

During September or October 2003, UPS lost a quilt belonging to Eleanor McCain. She shipped it from the Fort Walton Beach, Florida UPS store on Racetrack Road. UPS later told her the quilt must have fallen out of the box and was lost in transit to Larence, Kansas.

The 110" by 110" quilt is a nine patch quilt. Yellow and blue crosses alternate wtih black and white striped squares. The fabrics are hand-dyed. It is machine pieced and machine quilted. Eleanor is not sure if she labeled the quilt before it was shipped, but if it was, she typically machine sews the label to the lower right corner of the backing.

If you've seen a quilt that fits this description, please contact Eleanor at [email protected].
