Nina Wyatt Quilts
Three quilts are missing from a commercial storage place in Adelanto, California. The storage business sold all the contents to a private person to regain loss of payment on the unit. They were last seen in 2002.
The Rabbit with Walking Stick quilt is about 36" by 50". It is made with flannels in soft eart colors. This quilt was hand appliqued and machine quilted by Nina in 1996. It has a handwritten label which was hand appliqued to the bottom right corner.
The United States of America quilt is queen size. The top was made by Nina's mother-in-law, Marylou Wyatt. The main colors are bright red, white and blue. It has both polyester and cotton fabric. It has hand embroidery and is hand quilted. This quilt has a handwritten label that states it was made by Marylou Wyatt, finished by Nina Wyatt.
The crow wall hanging is about 30" square. It has black crows on the sashing and the main background made of tan cotton fabrics. This is hand appliqued and hand quilted by Nina. This quilt was labeled in the same manner as the first quilt.
