Wool squares

Susan is searching for a quilt that was made by her grandmother. Her mother had it until a sister sold it in a tag sale. It was last seen in Massena, New York in the 1990's.

This quilt is about 78" by 65". It was made of heavy wool squares and half squares. There are dark browns, blacks, plaids, and possibly some burgundy. Susan estimates it was made in the 1940's. When it was last seen, it was in excellent condition with no tears or repairs. It is very heavy. Susan is not sure if it has any batting.

If you have seen a quilt that fits this description, please contact Susan through the Lost Quilt Come Home Page.
