Wool Patches

Jill Waddell and her husband are hoping to recover a coverlet made by his grandmother. Their son brought it to King College in Bristol, Tennessee for his freshman year, 1995-1996. Someone borrowed it and never returned it.

The twin size quilt is made of wool squares from men's suits: mostly browns, navys, and tweeds. It is hand pieced and tied. The coverlet was made in 1940.

If you have any information about this quilt, please contact Jill Waddell at [email protected].
