Wolf Pack Graduate
Denise Schaefer made a quilt for graduation present for Tyler Jenkins. The quilt, Wolf Pack Graduate, was made using a commercial pattern from a Connecting Threads book.
The quilt was shipped on June 5, 2007 in the Fed Ex office in Auburn, Washington, but it wasn't delivered as expected. Things seemed hopeless when FedEx could no longer follow the tracking number. Apparently the label had been torn off in transit. Fortunately, the box was sent to the FedEx recovery warehouse. After three weeks, it was opened and the FedEx employee found the business card of the woman who quilted it and they returned it to her. She drove for four hours to deliver Denise's quilt in person.
This navy, crimson, and white quilt is 92" square. She used Fairie Frost White and Martin Miller Modas. It is machine pieced and machine quilted.
