Vintage Tie Quilt

Carol M. Rushing is searching for a Vintage Tie Quilt. It is a crazy quilt made of opened men's ties of all fabrics, colors, and prints including silk, rayon, and 40's and 50's prints. It is double or queen sized. It is hand pieced and tied, not quilted. The back is a bright, cerulean blue fabric which may be rayon and was possibly added at a later date. She had purchased the quilt in the 1980's in Memphis, Tennessee.

The quilt was last seen in Carol's home in 1994. She remodeled her house during 1992 through 1994. During that time she had to store and move things. She does not believe the quilt was stolen by theives, just misplaced due to the general confusion that accompanies home remodeling.

Please contact Carol through the Lost Quilt Come Home Page.
