Victoria Drunkard's Path

During the night of November 3, 2002 someone broke into Pipers Quilts & Comforts quilt shop in Salt Lake City, Utah and stole more that $100,000 worth of merchandise.

Among the 37 quilts that were stolen was Victoria Drunkard's Path made by Jeanette White. The quilt was made from a commercial pattern printed in the book "Willow Creek" which is published by Black Mountain Quilts. It is 57" by 57". It is made with a black floral fabric and a cream color fabric that has burgundy stars. Both are Moda fabrics from the Attic Treasure Collection. The quilt is machine pieced and machine quilted. It was made in 2002 and does not have a label.

More of the stolen quilts can be seen on Piper's Quilts website at http://www.pipersquilts.com/stolen.htm

A newspaper article concerning this theft can be read in the Salt Lake Tribune, http://www.sltrib.com/2002/nov/11062002/utah/13836.htm.

The Deseret News also ran an article, http://deseretnews.com/dn/view/0,1249,440014680,00.html

There is a reward for any information regarding the whereabouts of this quilt. Please contact Piper's Quilts & Comforts at [email protected]. Or you can call the Salt Lake City Police Department at 801-799-3000.
