Triangles Wedding Quilt

On September 11, 2001 a quilt was stolen from a home in Baltimore, Maryland. The twin sized Wedding Quilt was made by Martha Skeen in 1941. She used alternating triangles of white and multi-color pastels typical of 1940-1941. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. The label was embroidered on the front in red thread and says, "Bill and Ruth, June 21, 1941."
