Claudette Laurent reports that three quilts that she had made for her daughter and her two grandchildren have been stolen from her daughter's home in Droyes (Haute-Marne), France during January 2001.
One quilt is an Uneven Log Cabin arranged to form a clam shell pattern. This is a double bed quilt that is about 89-inches by 79-inches (2.26 meters by 2 meters).
One is a Sampler Quilt. This twin size quilt is about 79-inches by 48-inches (2 meters by 1.2 meters).
The last is a Bow Tie quilt. This is also a twin size quilt and measures about 79-inches by 55-inches (2 meters by 1.4 meters).
The Sampler quilt and the Bow Tie quilt both have labels that say "Claudette Laurent" and the date they were made. The Uneven Log Cabin quilt was so new that Claudette had not yet put a label on it.
Please contact Claudette at [email protected] if you have any information that would help them recover these quilts.
