Sunburst Star

Katrina Bianchi needs help locating a family heirloom made by Annie Kratz. The quilt she is looking for is a double bed sized, multicolor Sunburst Star with a white background. It was hand pieced and hand quilted around 1930-1940. The label says "Annie Kratz" in italic lettering and it is sewn to the bottom right corner of the front of the quilt. The quilt was last seen in 1960 in Clear Spring, Maryland. It was supposed to be inherited by the grandchildren, but a relative took it and sold it.

If you know anything about this quilt, please contact Katrina at [email protected].
