Sunbonnet Sue Sunbonnet Sue

Christine M. Checkley (Wahl) Crist is searching for a quilt made by her grandmother, Mary Katherine Fann Barrett. It is a full size quilt made with a variety of bright and pastel colors. It has light green trim and a white background. It has pink and navy blue checked gingham with solid pink and navy bonnets. There are also bright colored fabric dresses with matching solid color bonnets, including oranges and grees. It was made in 1980. It is hand pieced and machine quilted. The quilt was last seen in 1987 in Blissfield, Michigan. Christine thinks it was accidentally left behind or thrown away during a move.

If you see this quilt, please contact Christine at [email protected].
