Sun Bonnet Sue on Point

Amy Whitson hopes someone will find and return a quilt she made for her daughter, Sara Tirado. It was accidentally sent to a Goodwill store in Lafayette, Louisiana in 2008.

This quilt is 48" by 48" plus the ruffle. It was made in 2003. It is Amy's original design. She used multicolors on 11" white squares. Many of the fabrics are Laura Ashley prints. It is hand appliqued, hand quilted, and machine pieced. The ruffled edge matches the backing fabric, which is a blue floral Laura Ashley print.

If you've found this quilt, please contact Amy through the Lost Quilt Come Home Page.
