Stained Glass Dragonfly
Trudy MacDonald is hoping to recover her quilt, "Stained Glass Dragonfly," which disappeared from a quilt show. It was last seen on May 25, 2006 at the Common Thread Quilt Show in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. She writes, "The loss of this quilt was extremely upsetting because I has made it for a wedding gift for my nephew but had decided to enter it in the quilt show before sending it out to him."
This quilt was using the "Dragonfly Garden" pattern made by Three Swan Studios. It is about 27" by 41". The main colors are greens, browns, and blues. Trudy used batik fabrics except for the border and binding. This quilt is quick-fused with Steam-a-Seam Lite and fusible black bias tape. It is machine quilted and was made in 2006. It has a label on the lower left side of the back which incudes Trudy's name and the date, May 2006.
If you find this quilt, please contact Trudy through the Lost Quilt Come Home Page.
