Two Stack 'N Whack Quilts Lost in Mail

In December 2000, Patricia Rabe mailed two Stack 'N Whack quilts through the US Postal Service. The quilts were mailed from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to Mahwah, New Jersey. They were never delivered.

The first quilt, named Cigar Stacks, is 60" by 60". It has a gold background and the pinwheels were created using fabric printed with old cigar box logos. Samples of the fabrics are shown to the left. The quilt is machine pieced and machine quilted and has a gold flannel backing.

The second quilt, named Animals Go Wild, is a 52" by 72" couch throw. It has an flowered, orange background with pinwheels of a bright animal and flower print, shown below. The quilt is also machine pieced and machine quilted. The photo to the left was taken before the printed borders were added.

Please contact Patricia if you have any information about these two quilts. You can contact her at [email protected].
