Squares Etc.

Charlotte Soares is hoping to recover a quilt that she made for her son. Sometime during the summer of 2006, he threw it in the rubbish. The rubbish goes to Brentford depot (United Kingdom) where it is compressed and sent by rail to Sutton Courtenay landfill in Oxfordshire. Her only hope is that a refuse worker en route saw it and retrieved it.

The single-size quilt is made of random multicoloured rectangles using stripes, checks, and plain fabrics. The backing is green flannel and the label says as far as she can remember "Squares Etc, To Robert , all my love, Mum."

If you find this quilt, please contact Charlotte through the Lost Quilt Come Home Page.
