Springtime Bouquet
Susan Schwarz created this quilt, Springtime Bouquet, in response to the quilt challenge sponsored by The Children�s Inn, a non-profit organization providing a family-centered residence for seriously ill children and their families.
Springtime Bouquet, along with a second quilt called Heron in the Harbor, turned up missing on December 3, 1999 before all of the challenge quilts could be displayed.
Susan Schwarz�s quilt is 22.5" by 26.5" and has a predominantly deep purple border. Susan used the swirly challenge fabric in the four corners and in the vase. The snippets quilt is made with a mosaic of small pieces of fabric fused to the background fabric. The quilt her name on the back of the quilt.
These quilts were donated, so this quilt actually belongs to the Children�s Inn.
