Recovered!
Simrill Smith's 8th Birthday Quilt

Michelle Hiskey was searching for Simrill Smith's 8th Birthday Quilt. It was last seen during early 2009. Thankfully during the last part of June 2009, the quilt was found hidden under a sheet on another bed. They had already searched there, but there was so much static that they only saw the sheet. Another happy ending!

This quilt was made from t-shirts and scraps. It is between a twin and full size. The main colors are white and light colors with patches of green, blue, and yellow. Some of the fabrics are special year 2000 fabrics. There are also hand prints made with fabric paint. The label on the back says, "For Simrill, I hope you enjoy this until you are 88 years old. Love, Joey"
