Shawn's Fire Quilt

Cescily Abbott hopes someone has found her quilt, "Shawn's Fire Quilt". It was last seen on September 25, 2009 near I-10 and Shepard in Houston, Texas. The quilt was inside a bag that was stolen from inside her husband's truck. A police report has been filed.

This is a full-size quilt made with bright colors: yellows, reds, blues, greens, and some gray. It has fire fighter-related fabrics, black with dalmations, yellow with red fire trucks, white with black paw prints, and standing fire fighters for an inner border. The quilt also has the fire fighters prayer attached to it and, in an upper corner, it has a picture of the fire fighters raising the American Flag after 9/11. The quilt is backed in red fabric. The quilt was machine pieced and machine appliqued in 2002-2003. There is a label hand-appliqued to the lower left corner that says "A love note to my husband."
