Rose Ellen Smith Guard Quilts

Sharon L. Northrop is hoping to recover family quilts made by her grandmother, Rose Ellen Smith Guard. Rose Ellen made several traditional quilts, one of which was a Dresden plate design. They would have been made between 1920 and 1955. Sharon hopes that she put her name on them.

These quilts were last seen in Rupert, Idaho. Rose Ellen died in 1955. It is believed that her daughter, Deloris, inherited the quilts which were possibly passed on to her daughter. The family believes the quilts may have then been sold locally in Rupert, Idaho.

If you find any quilts with Rose Ellen Smith Guard's name, please contact Sharon at [email protected].
