Reproduction Fabric Sunbonnet Sue

In 2002 Maryann Rogers made a Sunbonnet Sue quilt for her mother, Viva Cap, using 1930's reproduction fabrics. Her mother was living in a nursing home in Woodstock, Illinois when the quilt disappeared. It was reported missing in December 2002, but never found.

This multicolor quilt is 72" by 72". It is machine pieced, machine appliqued and hand quilted. The quilt is marked, "to My Precious Mother," and it is written directly on the backing in the bottom right corner.

Please contact Maryann at [email protected].
