Red is Necessary

Red is Necessary Mariner's Compass

Susan J. Ehrlich needs help finding her Mariner's Compass quilt called "Red Is Necessary." The quilt was being transported to a show when it came up missing. The quilt was last seen on August 31, 2002 in Sandy Springs, Georgia.

The front of the queen-sized quilt has a Mariner's Compass in navy blue, red, silver, white and off-white. The backing is red and white striped. It is hand pieced, hand appliqued, and hand quilted. It was made in 2000. A label is hand appliqued to the back corner. The label says, "Susan Jeffrey Ehrlich, Baton Rouge, Louisiana."

Please contact Susan through Scott Peskin at [email protected].
