Purple Tulip Quilt

Joyce Mitchell dreams of recovering a Purple Tulip quilt which was made by her grandmother. It was intended to be a gift for Joyce when she got married. The quilt last seen in June 1971 in Denard, Arkansas. When Joyce's grandmother moved in with her aunt, the quilt "disappeared" from the linen closet. Joyce suspects her aunt really sold it. If that is the case, it was probably sold or given away in Jacksonville, Arkansas around 1980 or so.

This purple and white quilt fits a double bed. It is hand pieced and hand quilted.

Joyce writes, "I really would love to have my quilt. I would be willing to buy it from whom ever has it." If you can help, please contact Joyce at [email protected].
