Pink Sunbonnet Girl

Linda Bender is hoping to recover her pink Sunbonnet Girl quilt which she accidentally left behind in the basement of her apartment in Chandler, Indiana when she moved. She last saw the quilt in July 1981. She had friends helping her move, so it was several months before it was discovered missing.

The twin size quilt was made by Linda's grandmother. It is made with pink fabrics and has a white background. It was hand pieced and hand quilted around 1960. At the time Linda last saw it, the quilt had some damage and needed a few repairs. Her great-grandmother was a Vanmeter and her grandmother was a Field. It could have been made when her grandmother's last name was Pierson.

Please contact Linda through the Lost Quilt Come Home Page.
