Patchwork Quilt Lost on Amtrak Train

On July 6, 1993 a Patchwork Quilt was lost on the eastbound Amtrack train Empire Builder. It is a multicolored, full-sized quilt made of 3" to 4" blocks. The backing was made from a light blue sheet. It is tied with red yarn. The quilt was made in 1991 by Wilma Shearer for her grandson, Jeromy Wagner. It was a high school graduation present.

Jeromy's sister, Valerie, is asking for our help. She writes, "He cried like a baby when he realized he had left it on the train. It's not the most beautiful quilt but it has a lot of value even after all these years."

If you have seen a quilt that may fit this description, please contact Valerie through the Lost Quilt Come Home Page.
