Orange Crush

Penny Hillard reports the loss of her "Orange Crush" quilt which was sent to her grandson by the Candian mail on December 18, 2009. It was last seen in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The box was left at on her daughter's doorstep, and stolen before he got it.

This quilt was made from a spinning star block by Bonnie Hunter. The quilt is approximately 79" by 107". It is red-black and orange. There are over 1500 pieces in all, with the rest being scrappy. The outer border is black with the words "bloom", "love", "laugh", "grow", "play", "rejoice", and "enjoy". This quilt is machine pieced and machine quilted. It has a label which says, "Joshua AKA Mr Busy, This quilt has a Nana hug built right inside so when you need a hug just snuggle in this quilt knowing that Nana and Papa love you very much Christmas 2009 from Nana and Papa Hillard".

Please contact Penny at [email protected] if you find this quilt.
