Noah's Ark Quilt
On December 28, 2002 Valorie Klinefelter mailed her granddaughter a gift for her first birthday. Valorie sent the Noah's Ark Quilt via priority mail through the US Postal Service, but it was never delivered. The quilt was last seen at the Cascade Park Station in Vancouver, Washington. It was being mailed to Ontario, California. It was packaged in a sturdy box with a bright orange address label which was protected by 2" wide, clear packaging tape.
The crib sized quilt is made from a printed panel depicting Noah's ark in bright green, pink, orange, blue and yellow. Valorie personalized it by adding prairie points on all four edges. She used a matching fabric, below, for the backing. Additional details of the quilt are shown below. It is very heavily machine quilted with Sulky invisible thread on the front and white Metrosene cotton on the back.
If you have any information about this quilt, please contact Valorie through the Lost Quilt Come Home Page.
