Nine Patch with Yellow Sashing

Melissa S. McIntire is hoping to recover her Nine Patch quilt that has yellow sashing. It is a full-sized quilt that was made from children's clothing fabrics from the 1940's. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. There is a tan strip near the head of the quilt with a cross-stitched pattern on it. It has a label sewn onto the back with Melissa's name on it and the words, "Quilted by Presbyterian Church Quilting Bee of Fenton, Mich." The quilt was last seen in 1976 in Waco, Texas where it was mistakenly left with a friend.

If you have seen a quilt that matches this description, please contact Melissa through the Lost Quilt Come Home Page.
